Our philosophy, as integrative family mental health practitioners, is founded on our belief that the body, mind and human spirit are dynamic systems of an integrated whole, encompassing physical, physiological, spiritual and environmental interactions that require regular attention for optimum health.
On occasions, the system becomes unbalanced requiring additional support. During periods of unbalance, we provide safe, holistic, pharmacological, and psycho-therapeutic treatments based on researched and validated scientific treatment standards to our clients: including children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors in the communities we serve regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, spiritual beliefs, or lifestyle. Description
Norkris Foundation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, adults, and families. The ideal candidate is committed to improving access to quality behavioral healthcare and supporting patients in achieving balanced, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals across the lifespan.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Provide medication management, monitor treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Current PMHNP-C certification and state licensure.
- Experience providing psychiatric care across diverse populations preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
